Your loss counts. Even if no one else treated it that way.
"They said it was early. They said it happens all the time. It didn't feel small to me."
No commitment. We'll confirm your coverage before your first session.
You might benefit from therapy ifβ¦
- βYou've had a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, or pregnancy loss and you're carrying it mostly alone
- βPeople keep saying things that hurt, even when they mean well
- βYou've had multiple losses and the cumulative grief is hard to carry
- βYou're terrified to try again, or you're trying again and the fear is overwhelming
- βYou feel angry at your body, at the universe, at people who got pregnant easily
- βYou can't talk about your loss without crying and you're tired of explaining

From our founder
Pregnancy loss is one of the most under-witnessed griefs I see. People assume that early loss means small loss, and the data does not support that, and neither does the consulting room. The work is taking the loss seriously, naming it for what it is, and not letting the world's minimizing become your minimizing.

Real clients. Real relief.
What our clients say about their experience.
βββββ
β"I had three losses before my current pregnancy and never let myself grieve any of them because I was always focused on trying again. My therapist helped me understand that I was carrying grief for three separate pregnancies and three separate futures I'd imagined. Sitting with that was hard. It also let me finally move forward."β
β recurrent pregnancy loss
βββββ
β"The physical part of my miscarriage was what nobody prepared me for. I was at home going through something my body had to do, processing grief at the same time, with no support. My therapist helped me understand that the way a loss happens becomes part of the grief. All of it was real and all of it needed space."β
β first pregnancy loss
βββββ
β"My loss was at eight weeks and people kept saying at least it was early. Like the early losses don't count the same way. I had already named her. Already imagined her. The loss I felt was real, and the minimizing made it worse. My therapist gave me space to grieve exactly what I'd lost without anyone measuring whether I was allowed to."β
β after loss
βββββ
βI had a miscarriage at nine weeks and everyone moved on within a month. I couldn't. My therapist let it be as big as it actually was. Six months later I felt like a person again. A year later I was pregnant, and I went into that pregnancy with real support already in place.β

Common questions
- There is no expiration date on this grief. The intensity usually softens with time and with support, but anniversary dates, due dates, and subsequent pregnancies often bring it back. That's not a failure of healing. It's how grief works.
- No. Gestational age does not determine grief. Some people grieve a 6-week loss as profoundly as a later loss, especially if it was a long-awaited or hard-won pregnancy. Your grief is not measured in weeks.
- Partners often grieve differently, and the mismatch is one of the most painful parts of this loss for many couples. Therapy can help bridge that, either individually or with couples work. The difference doesn't mean your partner doesn't care.
- Many clients do exactly that. Processing the loss before trying again can dramatically change how the next pregnancy feels. That said, some clients start trying again before they've fully processed, and therapy can carry alongside that, too. There's no wrong order.
- PMH-C (Perinatal Mental Health Certification) is awarded by Postpartum Support International (PSI) to clinicians who have completed advanced training in perinatal mental health β covering postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, birth trauma, and related conditions. It represents the gold standard of specialization in this field.
- If you're struggling β with your mood, your thoughts, your relationship, or just how you're coping β that's enough of a reason to talk to someone. You don't need a diagnosis. A free consultation is a low-commitment first step.
